Headlining the festivities was Mr. Peter Ho Hak Ean, the esteemed chairman of the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), who was awarded the Order of Nila Utama (With High Distinction) for his outstanding services to the nation. The National Day Awards ceremony recognized the undeniable contributions of various individuals, with a whopping 6774 recipients acknowledged for their exceptional dedication to Singapore's progress and development.

But, that's not all! As the nation celebrated, food took centre stage, showcasing the rich tapestry of Singaporean cuisine. Innovative chefs have taken inspiration from traditional dishes to whip up creative snacks like ondeh ondeh-inspired egg tarts and nasi lemak popcorn.
