And a big part of his character is he expends the least amount of energy possible. One of the main highlights of the movie is the debut of Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror, a character popular in the comics who sometimes serves as an anti-hero and other times as a supervillain. Each song was chosen to communicate with a different part of myself, to activate and inspire different emotions and movements in the crew. Fantastic (played by John Krasinski in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness), Kang can manipulate time and is therefore a formidable adversary. The Key Difference Between Kang The Conqueror And Loki's He ... (Cinema Blend)

Marvel producer Stephen Broussard explains how Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania's Kang The Conqueror differs from Loki's He Who Remains.

[Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania](https://www.marvel.com/movies/ant-man-and-the-wasp-quantumania), and for a quick refresher course of where things started with the character in the MCU, you can watch all of Loki Season 1 with a [Disney+ subscription](https://www.cinemablend.com/news/2492773/how-to-best-use-disney-tips-to-get-the-most-out-of-the-streaming-service). Like He Who Remains, the Kang in Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania has existed in a kind of exile, but he’s in that position under very different circumstances. Stephen Broussard explained the headspace of He Who Remains ( [who, prior to his death, isolated himself at the end of time after creating the Time Variance Authority](https://www.cinemablend.com/interviews/marvel-producer-clarifies-how-he-who-remains-death-in-loki-lines-up-with-phase-5)), and added that Majors went about making his second appearance in the MCU very different than his first. [the Loki Season 1 finale](https://www.cinemablend.com/television/2570466/loki-ending-explained-how-season-1-gambit-sets-up-mcu-phase-4) was a teaser for Kang’s significant upcoming role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Multiverse Saga, but audiences will definitely note that the variant of the character from the show is not the same individual who serves as the antagonist in Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania. Broussard, who was a producer on the Disney+ series prior to the Ant-Man sequel, noted how he got to see the two variants of Kang get introduced: He is a master of the multiverse, and as such, there are many, many variants of him.

The Quantumania director and cast on why an Avengers villain is going up against Marvel's microscopic hero.

And the idea that Kang is kind of a man outside of time and he's broken, there's a sadness to Kang. Reed shared what it was like to effectively tell the middle chapter of Kang’s story and the chilling impression they wanted him to make on the audience. Was it a result of the mask? Kang has a unique relationship with time that affects how he views the world around him. But it’s a challenge that the director and actor rose to meet. It goes without saying that Kang was a challenge to translate from comic books to the silver screen. And when the mask is illuminated, it highlights those and they were energized as part of the thing with the suit. Remember, in the first film he went up against a guy in a bee suit and in the second he fought a phase shifter and a gangster/restaurant owner. And now the idea that Ant-Man and Wasp, the first two Avengers, who are going to come up against Kang and he's front and center in this movie, for me personally, was really exciting. “Kang the Conqueror going up against Ant-Man, who's going to win? Jonathan Majors plays Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Then he popped up one year later in The Avengers #8 as Kang the Conqueror, his most iconic and dangerous variant.

Who is Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man 3? New Marvel villain ... (Dexerto)

Everything we know about Kang the Conquerer in Ant-Man 3, including why he's in the Quantum Realm, and how he plans to leave.

When Ant-Man and Kang first meet, Scott Lang has no idea who he is, and lies that the rest of the Avengers are coming. Scott then says that much at the very end of the movie. But he also said something bad is coming, and that everyone would die if he didn’t get out…” The hero and villain of Quantumania don’t share a huge amount of time onscreen. Which lines up with the film’s first post-credit scene, in which we see a stadium full of Kangs. And suggests that climax involves lots of Kangs. Janet asks how many worlds will die when he’s free, and Kang only promises “not yours.” At first Janet believes his claims of being a traveller and scientist who has lost his way. To which he cryptically responds “who I need to be.” The character has had different identities and names through the years, first appearing as the Pharaoh Rama-tut in ‘Fantastic Four #19’ in October 1963. The pair work together on the core of his ship, with plans to escape from the realm. Here’s everything we know about this iteration of the character.
