After months of attempts that were rebuffed right to transfer deadline day, Paris Saint-Germain have finally given up on getting Milan Skriniar from Inter.

[Francesco Acerbi](https://football-italia.net/player/francesco-acerbi/) on loan with option to buy from [Lazio](/teams/lazio). The only transfer fee they were prepared to accept this late in the day was €80m and Paris Saint-Germain have now finally admitted defeat. They did reportedly meet that figure at €65m plus €5m in bonuses over the last couple of days, but it was too late in the day to find a suitable replacement, so Inter turned it down.
