The Dragons opened the scoring in the 24th as Lehigh tried to move the ball from midfield to its back line.

TWICE tells NME they are on the verge of a new era with 'Between1&2', but their commitment to honesty and thirst for creativity won't change.
“I feel like we didn’t have a lot of challenges in the early years because we’d just made our debut and everybody expected us to make a lot of mistakes. “But now, in our seventh year, I think we have more pressure to be more perfect and to not make mistakes.” But now, in our seventh year, I think we have more pressure to be more perfect and to not make mistakes” – Nayeon The promise that they will do the same things for the next member to go solo – which, by the way “will come out when the right time comes” – is unsaid and unwavering. “When you spend almost every day together for seven years, it’s hard not to have unity or solidarity, the feeling of closeness,” Jihyo says. ‘TT’ was the hapless venting of frustrations about wanting to get someone’s attention, but ‘Cry For Me’ kicked the door in with nine-inch stilettos and proclaimed that the days of shedding tears for someone else were over: “I want you to cry, cry for me / The way I cried for you, baby, cry for me.” “This album is about our relationship with our fans,” says Jihyo of ‘Between1&2’. In the past, members of TWICE (and their agency) have been uncommonly honest about the mental health struggles they’ve been through – and they’re candid with NME now. “It was actually decided only a few days before it was reported in the media,” Jihyo reveals to NME over Zoom. This was the evolution TWICE was undergoing when they released the effervescent 2018 single ‘What Is Love?’, which depicted the members as wide-eyed girls wishing for a kind of love only found in films. “The biggest factor was our desire to share TWICE’s diverse take on music,” Dahyun continues. In the trailer of their new album ‘Between 1&2’, TWICE ask the question: “Who are we?” At first, it seems like an obvious question coming seven years too late.

TWICE observes record pre-order sales of upcoming mini album 'Between 1&2', creates history.
Currently, BETWEEN 1&2, THE ALBUM, Girls, and BORN PINK by BLACKPINK are the only four girl group albums to achieve the record. Following BLACKPINK and Aespa, TWICE is the only girl group in history to reach 1 million stock pre-orders. With a rise of almost 300,000 from their previous personal record of about 700,000 established by their third studio album Formula of Love: O+T=3 last year, this represents the group's biggest amount of stock pre-orders for an album.
Girl group TWICE will be making a comeback on August 26.
The leader is expected to be absent from the group’s promotions for the album as it releases on August 26 at 1 pm KST (9:30 am IST) with the title track ‘Talk That Talk’. [Jihyo](https://www.pinkvilla.com/entertainment/twice-leader-jihyo-tests-positive-covid-19-ahead-between-12-comeback-be-absent-promotions-1181350) tested positive for COVID-19 on August 24, just a couple of days ahead of the comeback. The monumental pre-orders number makes TWICE only the third girl group in the history of K-pop to surpass 1 million stock pre-orders. On August 25, a day before their official return, JYP Entertainment revealed that TWICE has recorded a staggering 1 million stock pre-orders for their upcoming eleventh mini-album ‘ [BETWEEN 1&2](https://www.pinkvilla.com/entertainment/watch-twice-give-sneak-peek-awaited-comeback-between-12-exciting-album-preview-1180931)’. Marking another personal best for the nine piece, TWICE has surpassed the number set by their last release, third studio album ‘Formula of Love: O+T=<3’, by almost 300,000 units pre-ordered as their LP had amounted to about 700,000 in the last year. Notably, this is the highest pre-order sale that the girl group has accounted for, so far.

I think it’s fitting to refer to Between 1&2 as the bridge between TWICE’s first and second stages in their career. The track itself is nice and sweet, but this ‘Sisterhood of The Travelling Pants’ kind of anthem is something we have heard from the genre at least two… This pop punk-influenced sound is pretty difficult to nail, as each song is always a small step away from being corny and contrived – and Queen of Hearts took a leap in that direction. This smoothness is mirrored in the members’ vocal delivery as well, as the way their voices swing from powerful to breezy adds to the energetic gracefulness of the track. But what makes Talk That Talk stand out from these other singles is its lack of a strikingly bombastic chorus – and I mean this as a compliment! Sonically, the track fits the synth-wave/80s trend that has taken over K-pop since 2020 like a glove – it’s fun and upbeat, with its right dose of lavishing percussion and funky edges in all the right places.
On August 26, TWICE made their highly-anticipated comeback with their 11th mini-album 'Between 1&2,' which features the title song "Talk That Talk.
According to the Hanteo chart, the album wrapped up its first-day sales count with 288,836 copies sold, setting a new impressive personal best for the group. In addition, 'Between 1&2' is now the fourth-best-selling album by a girl group in first-day sales in Hanteo history, behind the albums of aespa, BLACKPINK, and IVE. With this, 'Between 1&2' has become TWICE's highest-selling album in first-day sales, surpassing the number of copies their ninth mini-album 'More & More' has accumulated, which had around 274,000 copies sold on its first day.

“We really learn how to co-live with each other and how to understand each other and how to care for each other,” she says. “We find each other to be the most empathetic when something happens, so we can relate to each other.” As we speak, I notice that the group members have an almost instinctive tendency to incorporate references to Once, their fans, in their responses to each question I pose. They received a VMA nomination last year ( [for “Alcohol Free”](https://www.soompi.com/article/1483355wpp/bts-nominated-for-five-awards-at-2021-mtv-vmas-blackpink-twice-seventeen-gi-dle-and-monsta-x-snag-nods-for-best-k-pop)), and another one this year ( [for “The Feels”](https://www.mtv.com/vma/vote/best-k-pop)). It occurs to me that the pandemic—with its isolation and lack of live music—may have been especially arduous for a band whose members thrive on fan energy. for our tour, that was the first time in a really, really long time that we saw our fans face-to-face and heard their cheers with our own ears,” Mina says. “When we went to the U.S. Their first EP, The Story Begins, came out at the end of that year and received only middling attention; the following year, they had their first domestic hit in “Cheer Up,” a single from their second EP, Page Two.
