Betamon is one of the first Digimon that players will be able to befriend in Digimon Survive, with the little amphibian showing up early on in Part 1.
Here, they'll be able to encounter and befriend both Betamon and Gotsumon, the rock monster-like creature that plays such a prominent role in the prologue of Digimon Survive. When players opt to talk to a Digimon in Digimon Survive, a short conversation will ensue. Betamon, for example, is one of the more gentle monsters in Digimon Survive and so the best Betamon responses will need to take this into account.

Let's keep Digimon Survive a one-of-a-kind experience!" "Digimon Survive tells a deeply personal story with many twists and turns.
Bandai Namco has requested that players avoid posting story spoilers past Chapter 5 of Digimon Survive for at least two months.
For example, Spike Chunsoft has requested that streamers and those posting on social media to avoid posting videos showing what happens after Chapter 1 of the Danganronpa games. That is not to say players are completely unable to talk about the entirety of the game. This is so all players will have an equal opportunity to enjoy Digimon Survive for the first time.

The teenagers are forced to fight to survive terrible peril, while allying with some of the monsters they encounter.

Bandai Namco is set to release the new video game Digimon Survive for the PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One tomorrow, July 29th.
"Digimon Survive tells a deeply personal story with many twists and turns," the official request from Bandai Namco reads in part. Ahead of the game's release, Bandai Namco has made an official, explicit request for players not to spoil Digimon Survive for two months following its release. Bandai Namco is set to release the new video game Digimon Survive for the PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One tomorrow, July 29th.
Gotsumon causes a lot of problems when players first encounter it in Digimon Survive's prologue, but they'll be able to befriend it a little later on.
Although players will first encounter Gotsumon during the game's prologue, the first chance that they'll get to befriend it comes during the following part. As was perhaps evidenced during the game's prologue, Gotsumon is not afraid to throw down when needed, but there's much more to the Digimon than just brute force. In fact, the rugged little Rock Digimon is a bit of a joker beneath the surface and likes nothing more than to play pranks on those around it. They'll then need to respond to three questions or statements, scoring three points or more to be able to submit a friendship request. Each one will respond differently to certain attitudes, however, meaning that players will need to think carefully about which options they choose. A lot has changed since then, however, with the franchise going on to differentiate itself from the Game Freak series in many ways.
Digimon Survive is the next big launch from Bandai Namco that will be coming to both PC and consoles as the release date is approaching soon.
As a visual novel, Digimon Survive features various tactical and survival elements, where your decisions will have a direct impact on the story’s outcome as well as the destiny of in-game characters. Digimon Survive can only be pre-ordered through its official domain on Bandai Namco, which will give you a number of options. Also, the game will feature some “Search Action” phases where you need to find a way out of critical situations to survive.
Here's the latest news on the PC system requirements, preload, and download size for Digimon Survive.
The game hasn't been given an official preload for PC just yet, though it is available to pre-order for both PS4 and Nintendo Switch through Bandai Namco's store. That being a tactical role-playing game, with 2D representations of characters during dialogue, similar to visual novels. Digimon Survive, players can jump into a digital world that features visual novel/tactical role-playing elements.
Gazimon can be befriended in the early stages of Digimon Survive's second part, but players will need to know the correct responses in order to do so.
Gazimon can first be found in Part 2 of Digimon Survive, although not until after players have unlocked the "Free Bat." area outside the school. Choosing the best response will reward players with two points and they'll need three or more in total in order to ask Gazimon to be friends. They'll then be faced with three questions or statements and will need to choose the best of four possible responses in order to get in Gazimon's good books. Interestingly, Gazimon uses the same seven lines of dialogue as Gotsumon, though the optimal responses are a little different this time around. This all changes pretty quickly mind, with more and more Digimon showing up as the main story of Digimon Survive progresses. When players reach Part 2, for example, they'll meet several new Digimon out in the Free Battle area near the school.
Digimon Survive players can befriend Biyomon from Part 2 onward, though will need to choose the right responses if they want it to join their team.
Sadly, the only way to cycle through these enemies is to complete or flee from battles, so it may take a while to get Biyomon to show up. In fact, there are several occasions when being brutally honest is the best course of action, so players should keep this in mind when responding to the Digimon's questions and statements. Gotsumon and Betamon can be recruited in Part 1, and Part 2 brings with it several other new Digimon for players to make friends with.
Digimon Survive is part visual novel, part tactical RPG, and here's how long it should take players to beat.
When players start a new game, they can choose from four options: Difficult, Normal, Easy, and Very Easy. As of the time of writing, it's not confirmed if players will be able to switch difficulty levels during their playthrough. For gamers wondering how long it'll probably take to finish a single playthrough of Digimon Survive, the answer is around 40 hours. Players will spend a lot of time speaking to characters, making decisions, and investigating objects in the environment.
When players are just starting to play Digimon Survive, they won't have too many options when it comes to team composition. Fortunately, it won't take.
Of course, instead, players can always just take a look at the table below, which includes all the best answers to Biyomon in Digimon Survive. However, as with other recruitable digimons in Digimon Survive, players will first need to enlist the support of a Biemon before they can ask him to join their team. Gotsumon and Betamon can be recruited in the first part, and in the second part there are several other new digimons that players can make friends with.
Rather than catching new creatures as they might in a Pokemon game, Digimon Survive players will need to make friends with them instead.
Once in a free battle, players will need to start a conversation with the Digimon that they'd like to befriend by selecting the "Talk" option and then cycling over to the list of foes by using the shoulder buttons and clicking on their name. This guide should help in that regard and will cover everything that players could ever need to know about befriending new Digimon in Digimon Survive. Initially, however, players will only have access to a handful of options, leading to many people wondering how to get more Digimon in Digimon Survive.
