Johor-Woodlands KTM train shuttle service returns on 19 Jun. Tickets will go on sale on 13 Jun, with 31 daily trips back and forth.

We hope the resumption of train service will incentivise residents on both sides of the Causeway to visit the country on the other end. According to The Straits Times (ST), train shuttle tickets from Johor Bahru to Woodlands will cost S$1.56 (RM5) while tickets for trips in the other direction will cost S$5. This means a round trip will come to about S$6.50. Of the 31 daily services, 18 will serve the JB Sentral to Woodlands Route, while the remaining will serve passengers in the other direction.

A ticket for a trip from Johor Bahru to Woodlands will cost RM5 (S$1.56), while a ticket for a trip from Woodlands to Johor Bahru will cost S$5. Children below four years old can ride for free. There will be 31 daily trips โ€“ 18 from Johor Bahru Sentral to the Woodlands Train Checkpoint and 13 from Woodlands Train Checkpoint to Johor Bahru Sentral โ€“ available.
