How can you have a Bourne movie without Jason Bourne? As a result, The Bourne Legacy is considered the worst installation in the franchise. The franchise has been subject to both critical and commercial success as The Bourne Ultimatum took home a total of three Academy Awards and both Ultimatum and Supremacy won the Empire Award for Best Film. In the era where films like John Wick rock the box-office, the Bourne franchise is a classic, but some have wondered if Universal will seize the opportunity to pursue a sequel.
