Leeds to ramp up Takumi Minamino hunt after Prem survival, with ... (Teamtalk.com)

Leeds United will step up efforts to sign Liverpool attacker Takumi Minamino this summer following their Premier League survival, according to a report.

Nevertheless, the report adds that Leeds’ summer chase for the player would have depended on their Premier League fate. They had to better Burnley’s result against Newcastle and in fact won 2-1 away at Brentford. As such, the links between Marsch and Minamino are obvious and he would be a welcome addition for Leeds. Minamino was Liverpool’s top scorer in both the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup this season. Minamino signed for Liverpool from RB Salzburg and went on loan to Southampton last season. However, Minamino opted to stay and fight for his place at Anfield until the end of the season.
