“The only one who thought it was about Johnny was Johnny,” Heard said. “He kind of just pushed me down and held me down by it,” Heard said. “I was harassed and harassed on a daily basis, death threats …” Heard said. “A few months ago, February, in 2022,” Heard said. “That’s not how your memory, or my memory, works,” Heard said. “I’m embarrassed to say I think I would have liked to believe that the period of time in which I [fell] in love with Johnny … and he wasn’t violent to me, lasted for a lot longer than it did,” Heard said. “Yes, I have,” Heard said. Vasquez asked if Heard had any photos of Depp “actually consuming cocaine,” noting that Heard frequently took photos of Depp in various states of alleged inebriation. “I think I would have liked to believe that I wasn’t hit so early in the relationship and still stayed.” Bredehoft also asked Heard about her testimony that police were called before the May 2016 incident in which Depp allegedly threw a phone at her. “Not that I have noticed,” Heard replied. “He can’t,” Heard answered. “I don’t think I have a picture of him mid-snort,” Heard replied.

Johnny Depp's attorney Camille Vasquez chips away at Amber Heard during photo-filled cross-examination challenging the 'Aquaman' star's testimony.

Heard explained why she stopped Depp from giving money to the charities directly instead of giving her the money first. I want Johnny to move on too. Heard then testified about three remarks made by former Depp attorney Adam Waldman that are the heart of her defamation countersuit. I have a baby, I want to move on. It’s about me and my life and what I endured once I moved on and got a TRO and moved on with my life. It’s about what happened to me after Johnny. It’s about what happened to me after I escaped my marriage.

Jurors heard a third day of testimony by Amber Heard, the ex-wife of Johnny Depp, in the Pirates of the Caribbean's star's libel trial against her.

Heard said the trial has taken a toll on her career. Vasquez also questioned Heard about her $7 million divorce settlement from Depp. Heard pledged to donate the full amount to charity but has so far only donated a portion of it. But on cross-examination she acknowledged that she had received the full $7 million from Depp months before he filed the lawsuit. On cross-examination, Depp lawyer Camille Vasquez questioned Heard about multiple photos of her that appeared not to show bruises even they were taken within days of alleged abuse incidents. “I’m not going to walk around L.A. with bruises on my face,” she said, per The Associated Press. Jurors saw photos Monday of the “Aquaman” star with red marks and swelling on her face after their final fight before their divorce.

Amber Heard has been cross-examined by one of Johnny Depp's lawyers, Camille Vasquez, who attempted to poke holes in her credibility.

“I want to move on with my life,” she said. During Monday’s testimony, Heard also strongly denied an accusation from Depp that she left human fecal matter in the couple’s bed after a fight. She also discussed her make-up routine, using a colour correction wheel that she called her “bruise kit” to cover up marks on her face. “It’s not about Johnny,” she said. Vasquez also questioned Heard about her $7m divorce settlement from Depp. Heard pledged to donate the full amount to charity but has so far only donated a portion of it. “I want Johnny to move on. Heard also talked about the op-ed piece itself, saying staffers with the American Civil Liberties Union — for whom she had started work as an ambassador — wrote the first draft. On cross-examination, Ms Vasquez questioned Heard about multiple photos of her that appeared not to show bruises even they were taken within days of alleged abuse incidents. Heard said she used make-up to cover the injuries. The confrontation in May 2016 prompted Heard to file for divorce two days later. The final fight has been a key point in the couple’s ongoing dispute. They each deny the other’s claims.

She said: “I want to move on with my life. In response, Heard said she had used make-up to cover the injuries she said Depp had inflicted on her. I don’t know what grown woman does. I was not in a pranking mood.” I don’t think that’s funny. Heard said the marks came when Depp threw a phone at her face, and it was that confrontation that caused her to file for divorce in 2016.

Depp is suing his ex-wife over a 2018 Washington Post article in which she described herself as a victim of domestic abuse, at the height of the #MeToo movement. Heard denied marrying Depp for his money and said it was ‘incorrect’ to say she wanted public praise. There's more than a whiff of sexism about the gleeful dismantling of Heard online. She then continued her studies at Southwestern Law School, from which she graduated in 2010. This is, of course, a particularly ghoulish armchair pastime gaining traction on the planet's smartphones, as our social media vulture culture picks over footage from the trial. ‘Camille Set fire!

A lawyer with the major international firm Brown Rudnick, Vasquez has been leading the cross-examination of Heard this week after the trial took a one-week break. The top lawyer also grilled Heard on her claims Depp had sexually assaulted her with a wine bottle, asking her: "You're the one who assaulted someone with a bottle in Australia, isn't that right, Ms Heard? You weren't scared of him at all, were you?"
