He arrived on the Hollywood scene in 1998 with a role in The Replacement Killers, and was also a supporting actor in the James Bond film Die Another Day in 2002. He played supporting roles next to Chow Yun-fat in popular films in the 1980s, such as A Better Tomorrow and its sequel, and also The Killer. Tsang became an actor in the 1950s and played leading roles in many local films in the 1960s.

By the 1960s, he was a regular leading man, starring in a variety of detective films and classic kung fu movies. Veteran Hong Kong actor Kenneth Tsang, whose screen career spanned over 50 years, was found dead Wednesday at a hotel in Hong Kong where he was undergoing the city’s mandatory travel quarantine for COVID-19. He was 86.
