He is averaging 25.5 points and 6.3 assists in the three wins, but he has plenty of help. Jokic, the reigning MVP and a finalist for a second trophy this season, has done what he can to help Denver get a win. But the Nuggets had Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. to help Nikola Jokic accomplish that. Denver was blown out in the first two games but lost a close Game 3 at home on Thursday night. The Denver Nuggets know the history. Everyone knows the history.

TBD TBD TBD TBD TBD TBD He is a future Hall of Famer after all. In Golden State's three games against the Nuggets in the first round, Poole is averaging 28.7 points, 4.7 assists, three rebounds and a steal in 32.7 minutes. Poole's play is the reason Golden State has emerged as a championship contender. Plus, Curry is able to generate offense and make game-winning plays all by himself. In Game 1, Curry played close to 22 minutes and in Game 2, played close to 23 minutes. If the Warriors want to make a deep run in the postseason, they need Curry to be healthy and as close to 100 percent as he can be.

The Denver Nuggets live to fight another day, hanging on to beat the Golden State Warriors, 126-121, on Sunday to force a Game 5 back in San Francisco.

They've actually gotten us on that one time earlier this season"— NBA (@NBA) — NBA (@NBA) @nuggetsHead Coach Michael Malone on the effort from his team in Game 4. "That was really fun to watch...I was at peace all game regardless of the result because of how we were playing. With Jokic out of the game for defensive purposes, the Warriors faced a crucial inbounds play, trailing by two with 33.5 seconds left. Kerr said after the game that they were going for a quick two-for-one, but that he "would like that play call back." He also made one of the biggest shots of the game in the fourth quarter, when the Warriors decided to play a box-and-one, with Kevon Looney on Jokic to prevent him from making a play. "They were more physical with him tonight ... That's to be expected," Warriors coach Steve Kerr said after the game. They did that on Sunday, and forced a Game 5. He was effective as a facilitator, however, dishing out nine assists. The biggest contributor was Morris, who went shot-for-shot with Thompson and made all five of his 3-pointers in the first eight minutes of the third quarter. Rookie Bones Hyland made three straight 3-pointers during a big stretch in the second quarter and Will Barton made the game-clinching 3 from the corner with eight seconds left. "I just told him in the locker room, he electric bruh.

There are two to three positive defenders on the entire healthy roster, and I don’t see it happening, but if the Nuggets were to win this game they would need to play better defense than they have played throughout the series. The Nuggets never quite hit their stride in the regular season, and they fell on their faces in the playoffs. In the ensuing tussle, Gordon and Thompson were assessed a double technical. ... Hyland finished with 15 points. “It's what I do really well.” “Can I say we want them right where we want them? “We live to fight another day.” “But the focus now goes to heading home and the back in front of our fans” with a chance to close it out at home, Kerr said. Thompson said the Warriors don't want to come back to Denver until next season “because a win by them and anything's possible.” “We got to go with the attitude like all right, it's a must-win,” Thompson said.
