In another surveillance clip shot from a different angle, the lady in purple was seen standing on the escalator as the trolley approached from behind. Unbeknownst to the both of them, the trolley was gradually rolling towards the travelator. A female Sheng Siong staff was seen running after the trolley shortly after.

While unloading the cargo trolley, a staff member was seen pushing an unloaded box off-screen. It was later seen hurtling towards the bottom of the travelator, ramming a shopper while Sheng Siong staff chased after it. In the video, the trolley was seen crashing into two people — a woman in a blue dress, and another person who was at the bottom of the travelator.
