However, neither Booker nor that second consecutive victory could be seen once the final buzzer blared tonight, as the Suns fell to the Pelicans 125-114. That injury forced Booker to miss seven games in total across two weeks.

Booker was 12 of 18 in the first half, including 7 of 10 from three-point range. The Suns missed him. He extended the baby’s arm, at the end of which was a tiny fist. They should still beat the Pelicans, the eighth seed. Now, their success in the post-season might be hanging on one. Suns coach Monty Williams, during his post-game press conference, said he had no additional information on Booker.

Phoenix lost more than just Game 2 of its first round series as Devin Booker sat out the entire fourth quarter of the loss with hamstring tightness.

Booker left Game 2 of the Suns' first round series against the Pelicans with hamstring tightness.

The Pelicans proved how tough they are with this Game 2 win. For now, the team is calling it right hamstring tightness. Booker was on fire to start the game, scoring 31 points in the first half and even dapping up a courtside baby after one difficult make. This isn’t Booker’s first hamstring injury this season. He injured his left hamstring in late Nov. and missed seven games. Here’s the play.

The Suns' loss to the New Orleans Pelicans was quite forgettable for many Suns fans. It did provide a very memorable moment, however.
