RNG vs JD Gaming – Can either sweep and challenge Top Esports? (Esports.net News)

Royal Never Give Up, will face JD Gaming in Round 4 of the LPL playoffs. Winning pits them against Top Esports and a shot at the LPL finals.

Two games in they seemed to have everything under control and were a game away from securing Upper Bracket Finals. However, Tian and Knight played three absolutely insane back-to-back games to bring the series to Silver Scrapes and ultimately give Top Esports the win. Top to bottom, whoever faces TOP is now in danger and we honestly cant see either of these two teams challenging them. On account of finishing second in the regular season standings, this is RNG’s first match in Playoffs. They have been solid and reliable right through this season, which has included 12 wins out of 16 matches. I’m backing Royal Never Give Up to win eventually, but this will not be one that will be decided in the first few maps. He has been quite steady from the outset, which is an indicator that RNG will be hard to beat in the bot lane. Winning pits them against Top Esports and a shot at the LPL finals.

This series against Victory Five saw Top Esports progressively improve and adapt to Victory Five’s strengths. In the final game of the series, Top Esports continued their fourth game dominance. The entire game saw Victory Five look helpless to Top Esports’ pressure and there were few opportunities for them to come back into the game. Shortly after, Top Esports took the Baron from Victory Five to grab their first major gold lead of the game at 21 minutes. This unrelenting pressure continued when Tian was joined by the rest of Top Esports to thwart any momentary pauses from Victory Five’s end to continue a snowball throughout the fourth game. Top Esports continued to pressure Victory Five throughout the early game, but Victory Five stopped a snowball from forming through CS leads over their opponents.
