Justin Bieber may be taking wife Hailey's recent hospitalization for a blood clot worse than she is, with reports that he is "more traumatized" than she.

The source continued, “He’s going to keep an eye on her and help her however he can. He also reportedly is telling people around him how “Hailey is his rock, and how she saved him from a dark time … and that he needs to appreciate her every day.” Justin “is probably more traumatized than even she is,” a source told People on Monday, adding that there was “a lot of panic” when she was admitted to the hospital with stroke-like symptoms.

The 25-year-old model said it was "one of the scariest moments" of her life.

According to the Canadian public health service, strokes are the third leading cause of death and “tenth largest contributor to disability-adjusted years (the number of years lost due to ill-health, disability or early death).” These kinds of strokes occur “when blood supply is temporarily reduced,” according to Sutton. “And that can cause symptoms lasting anywhere from minutes to up to 24 hours.” She said that doctors found a “very small blood clot” that caused a lack of oxygen to her brain, adding that “my body had passed it on its own and I recovered completely within a few hours.”
